Navigate with an iPad on a classic yacht

Training week-end onboard the 6 and 7 July 2013 "Navigating with an iPad" aboard Owl, classic ketch rigged gaff 21 meters, built in 1909, departure from Agde.

The crew (Skipper + mariner / hostess) is responsible for the operation, food and cleaning, linen is provided.

Iridium AxcessPoint : GRIB weather files on iPhone and iPad in open sea

Announced on this blog in September (¹), the housing AxcessPoint company Iridium can now make requests and receive files from a GRIB weather iPad or an iPhone on the high seas, into the wild, anywhere on the world.

Plan2Nav the C-Map charting on iPhone/iPad

The application Jeppesen Marine Plan2Nav arrived on iTunes AppStore during September for iPhone and iPad.
