Improvements…
No respite for this application : two and half months after joining the currents in the routing calculation, this latest version provides significant advances on this function. Improvements provide greater accuracy in the calculation of optimized route and new settings allow to fine-tune.

With version 1.3.2, Weather4D PRO allows to get and display currents as GRIB data. At first, currents available on subscription are provided by the company Tidetech, I mentioned there in the past (¹). Since version 3.6.1 iNavX display provides GRIB weather files, high-resolution theyr.com. This site English society Kona Ltd is the developer of the application GribView I mentioned in a previous post (¹). An active account on the site x-traverse.com be opened, and done subscription to one of the Theyr subscriptions.
Actually x-traverse.com website allows two subscriptions :

After several months of intensive development and testing, under the conditions mentioned in a previous post, Olivier Bouyssou propose to the date of the last Grand Pavois PRO version Weather4D 1.3.0. No additional cost, the routing module is simply added to the update !

As promised in my post on 15 July, here are the results of the comparative test conducted aboard "Prince d'Oc" for our trip from Port Leucate to Dubrovnik.

Announced on this blog in September (¹), the housing AxcessPoint company Iridium can now make requests and receive files from a GRIB weather iPad or an iPhone on the high seas, into the wild, anywhere on the world.
Having implemented and tested this solution on a long journey, I can say that it is fully operational.
